El mundo pone sus ojos en Vancouver y nosotros estamos listos para lo que viene. La ciudad no volverá a ser la misma.

March 2026
The countdown is officially on! Early this March, the B.C. government formally marked the 100-day milestone until the FIFA World Cup 2026 kicks off. With seven matches scheduled at BC Place, the city is preparing to welcome an estimated 350,000 fans through the stadium doors, making it the largest single-sport event to ever hit the province.
Spring 2026
As part of the city's World Cup preparations, the City of Vancouver and the Park Board have kicked off massive field upgrades at Killarney Park and Memorial South Park. These local parks are being transformed into official training facilities for the visiting national teams. To protect the new elite-level pitches, the Killarney site will remain closed to the public until the fall.
April 2026
You won't need a stadium ticket to get in on the action. Organizers just announced that the massive FIFA Fan Festival at Hastings Park will feature more than 60 free musical performances! Running for 28 days during the tournament, the festival will feature two distinct stages, blending international headliners with incredible local Vancouver artists.
April 2026
All eyes in the sports world are on Vancouver this week. The city is currently hosting global football leaders for a major FIFA Council meeting leading up to the annual FIFA Congress on April 30. Key items on the agenda include ground-breaking proposals to significantly increase World Cup prize money and participation fees for the 48 competing national teams.
April 2026
For the first time in FIFA history, each host city was asked to partner with local producers to remix the official World Cup theme song. Vancouver's official "Sonic ID" dropped this month, infusing the iconic tournament anthem with the distinct rhythm, vibe, and cultural essence of the West Coast.
